Due to the continued growth of our Consulting Practice, we are currently seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Information Systems Practice in our Tysons Corner, VA  office location. Baker Tilly professionals in our Business Information Systems practice provide experienced system design and implementation, business process reengineering, user acceptance facilitation, data conversion, go-live support, system integration, 3rd party software integration, training and overall project management services. The goal of our skilled team is to help our clients align their business system technology with their organization’s overall business strategy.


As a member of our leadership team, you will help lead the firm’s efforts in expanding our commercial market presence and provide business process, packaged software and technology consulting offerings to leading companies and organizations throughout the region and across the country. In addition, you will work with a select group of professionals in an entrepreneurial environment to provide Consulting services to include


  • Software Selection, Development, Customization and Implementation
  • Diagnostic Review and Assessment
  • Enterprise Application Integration
  • Business Process Reengineering
  • Reporting and Analytics

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Participate in and lead complex ERP system implementation projects.
  • Employ technical and functional skills around the evaluation and implementation of accounting and reporting software solutions, particularly with an ERP, business intelligence, and government contracting specialization.
  • Help create and execute a market specific penetration and expansion plan to include identification and pursuit of opportunities at new or existing clients.
  • Assume responsibility for all project phases and work directly with clients in accomplishing project objectives.
  • Deliver exceptional client service in all client interactions and projects.
  • Communicate effectively, both internally and to clients, including those at an executive level.
  • Develop and execute methodologies and solutions specific to the government contracting industry.


Successful candidates will have:

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Accounting Information Systems, Management/Computer Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related program; MS or MBA preferred
  • Fifteen (15) or more years experience in delivering financial and management consulting services, including at least five years of experience configuring and implementing a Deltek Costpoint system solution.
  • Experience with Commercial Clients or a combination of Commercial and Federal Clients.
  • Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
  • Experience with business development and the ability to help grow a practice.
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • CPA or PMP certification preferred
  • Flexibility to travel to client site as needed
