    Responsibilities

    Client Information Management

    • Maintain accurate client data in our internal systems.
    • Prepare new client service documents and engagement letters and track completion.
    • Ensure new client set up process and steps are completed timely and accurately, to include:
      • client welcome packets
      • entering client and project details into multiple internal systems
      • updating documents within our SharePoint environment
    • Run reports and queries as needed from/within multiple systems

    Client On-Boarding

    • Support delivery of work by helping Project Managers where needed on larger engagements
    • Create and maintain basic project plans
    • Coordinate and support project deliverables
    • Ensure that Baker Tilly is meeting or exceeding project timelines and external and internal client expectations
    • Review and monitor project financials; track project expenses; trigger timely invoice requests.
    • Compile budget and status reports as needed
    • Act as primary point of contact for owned projects to stakeholders
    • Serve as primary point of contact for direct communication with client, implementation team, accounting team, etc. 
    • Participate in client meetings (drive prep, agenda, notes)
    • Coordinate materials production for client-focused meetings
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, business or a related field is highly preferred.
    • 1-2+ years’ work experience within a professional services/office environment.
    • Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision to drive progress of responsibilities.
    • Strong attention to detail and able to organize self to complete tasks timely and prioritize to meet work/client deadlines.
    • Curiosity with a desire to learn and driven to solve problems.
    • Ability to work effectively with internal/external clients and team members in a virtual environment.
    • High level of professionalism and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong skills in MS Suite with the ability to quickly learn multiple internal software programs.
    • Experience and/or desire to be part of a start-up environment where change is frequent.
