    This Marketing Associate position is responsible for assisting with the execution of strategic marketing plans. The marketing associate will help coordinate and execute a wide range of marketing tactics and initiatives, including demand generation through sponsorships, events, speaking engagements, thought leadership content, webinars, and e-mail marketing; formatting and graphic design of sales collateral and advertising; and presentation development to support new business opportunities or speaking engagements.

    Assist with the coordination and execution of marketing tactics and initiatives to support strategic marketing plans

    • Work closely with marketing supervisor, team leader, partners, subject matter experts, and other marketing team members to help implement marketing and sales initiatives
    • Use InDesign, PowerPoint, Excel, Word,, and other software and tools to execute high quality work
    • Assist with the coordination and execution of activities to support demand generation, thought leadership promotion, sponsorships, special events, seminars, webinars, trade show exhibits, meet-and-greet socials, advertising, public relations, and internal communications
    • Assist marketing supervisor in maintaining up-to-date practice-specific proposal and presentation content, website content, collateral, case studies, testimonials, professional resumes, industry involvement, and other sales-supporting materials
    • Assist with online research of specific companies, target lists, competitors, industry niches, and thought leadership topics
    • Assist in the tracking of results and marketing return on objective
    • Ensure work is free of errors and meets Baker Tilly brand guidelines

    Provide other marketing support as needed

    • Participate in marketing task forces and special projects

    Maintain and expand knowledge base in a variety of marketing areas

    • Integrate new knowledge, skills, and best practices into daily work and share with colleagues as appropriate

    Other duties as assigned


    • Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, or related field preferred
    • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of full-time marketing execution experience required, professional services environment preferred
    • Hands-on experience with Adobe InDesign,, business-related social media, and Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
    • Must work well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
    • High-level verbal and written communication skills required
    • Strong attention to detail is essential
    • Requires professionalism, diplomacy, organization, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple project requests simultaneously in a timely manner, as well as the ability to work with all levels of management
