    Responsibilities

    • Team with the Midwest Region recruiters to source, qualify, interview and hire seasonal tax professionals
    • Play an active role in posting positions internally and externally with professional organizations, universities, and other venues as deemed appropriate
    • Conduct research to locate and source qualified candidates, screen and assess and present qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration
    • Team with hiring partners to effectively coordinate in-office interviews:
      • Facilitate scheduling time on individual interviewer’s calendars
      • Place calls to verbally confirm interview specifics with individual candidates and ensure interview confirmation e-mail is delivered
      • Schedule candidate debriefing sessions
      • Collect and document interview feedback via the firm’s applicant tracking system
    • Ensure candidates complete all necessary paperwork in a timely fashion to include applications and background check authorizations
    • Participate in the employment offer process, teaming with Human Resources and key decisions makers to include formulating, negotiating and extending offers
    • Assist with coordinating new hires start dates, team with Human Resources to ensure accurate information is communicated to the candidate in a timely fashion
    • Maintain the firm’s applicant tracking system
    • Perform other projects as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Enrolled in Bachelor’s program, Human Resources preferred
    • Previous recruiting and or human resources experience a plus
    • Keen sense of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Professional demeanor and ability to handle matters confidentially
    • Ability to provide exceptional client service and exhibit a strong sense of urgency
    • Ability to follow directions/procedures and work independently 
    • Demonstrated level of technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
    • Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system a plus
    • This internship would be approximately 20 hours per week with flexbility and last through late January
