    We’re seeking an exemplary relationship builder who is consultative in nature and able to quickly form partnerships with colleagues and internal business partners to join our Firm Finance Team in Madison. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring daily receipt application activities are executed successfully as well as answering account inquiries from internal Client Services teams. You will be part of a team that processes a high volume of receipts and responds to requests to resolve open client credits.

     

    We are looking for a skilled team leader with experience in Finance, preferably dealing with multiple currencies, with exceptional customer service, interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.  If you are a self-starter who enjoys independent research, learning new systems and problem solving, you’ll excel on our team. This is a part-time (30 hours/week) position during general business hours.

    Responsibilities

    • A/R Helpdesk – Assist client services teams with necessary research and investigation to resolve customer payment discrepancies
    • Research and correct receipt application or client A/R account discrepancies
    • Receipt application (including international receipts)
    • A/R month end closing and reconciliations
    • Client Bankruptcy tracking and communication
    • A/R process documentation
    • Client refund approval and tracking
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Customer service and cash application experience preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment
    • Accuracy and attention to detail
    • Ability to do research in multiple systems and analyze for appropriate solutions
    • Experience with international transactions
    • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Associate's degree with 3 or more years of prior accounting support experience required. Extensive experience may be considered in lieu of degree
