    We are currently seeking a strategic Director of Resource Management to oversee the East Region Resource Management team. This position would be responsible for providing professional guidance and support to the team and the business, enabling leaders and teams to achieve their resource and staffing objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead and effectively coach the Resource Managers in the East region to provide scheduling, increase utilization and improve operational processes and best practices
    • Partner with Business Leaders and internal support functions to innovate the team to evolve into a next generation Resource Management function
    • Leverage automation and new reporting platforms to provide visualizations and to promote transparency in resource skills and scheduling
    • Responsible to drive effective and holistic staffing strategies that ensure efficiency in the firm’s professional services utilization. Emphasis on providing consistent, positive customer experience, operational efficiency and process excellence.
    • Identify opportunities to optimize resourcing, drive process changes, and implement resource management best practices regionally
    • Review and monitor monthly reports, including but not limited to: utilization reporting, pipeline, solution specific reporting, backlog
    • Leverage business and financial acumen to understand the implications of bill rates, fees, priority work etc.
    • Understand our client base across all practices to achieve the optima outcome for our client and our firm.
    • Demonstrate strong awareness when reporting to stakeholders: utilization, monitoring and investigating discrepancies between the data, and providing insight to the leadership teams, highlighting any potential concerns

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, accounting, finance, or related field
    • 10+ years of resource management experience in a professional services firm (i.e. public accounting, law firm, etc.)
    • Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding resource management strategies, see the “big picture” as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
    • Ability to lead multiple, high profile and complex projects with various top-level stakeholders
