    As a Marketing Intern for our Firm’s Consulting team, you will have the opportunity to:


    • Support business development activities.  Format, print, track and coordinate marketing campaigns in conjunction with industry and service team business plans. Assist in the development and/or distribution of team newsletters, hot topics, or other client communications within brand.
    • Assist with online and database research of specific companies, target lists,   competitors, and industry niches. Conduct competitive and industry research and coordinate the design and creation of databases and reports.
    • Help coordinate activities to support lead generation, thought leadership promotion, sponsorships, special events, seminars, webinars, trade show exhibits, meet-and-greet socials, advertising, public relations, proposals, and internal communications.
    • Ensure work is free of errors and meets the Baker Tilly brand guidelines. 
    • Other administrative or marketing duties including, but not limited to;.
      • Submitting of posts for events pages, features, case studies, whitepapers, articles, other web page updates
      • Engaging and monitoring of digital and social media channels
      • Assist in documenting and tracking campaign activities on central calendar
      • Reading / proofing / layout of assets
    • Other duties as assigned.
      • Participate in special projects as requested.


    • Post high-school education and pursuing a Bachelor's degree; marketing, communications and journalism related majors preferred.  Graduation dates of either December 2018 or May 2019.
    • Relevant marketing support experience. 
    • Experience in digital and social media channels, e.g., scheduling, posting on Twitter, LinkedIn, report development, etc.
    • Hands-on experience with event coordination, writing/editing, and Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required
    • Requires professionalism, organization, creativity, and ability to manage multiple project request simultaneously in a timely manner. Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team-focused environment.  High-level verbal and excellent writing skills required.
    • IT, Technology knowledge/interest is a plus.
    • Experience in InDesign Creative Suite, Photoshop and Salesforce CRM experience a plus.
