    It's an exciting time to join Baker Tilly! We are currently looking for a Sales Manager to join our Baker Tilly Advantage team in Philadelphia, PA.

     

    Baker Tilly Advantage delivers a modernized and comprehensive approach to meeting our client’s accounting, tax, and financial reporting needs. The Advantage team combines core service needs with industry expertise and cloud accounting solutions to deliver customized dashboards and reports that assist our clients in making strategic business decisions. This approach allows us to play an integral role in our clients’ management team, and provide a customizable service bundle that meets their needs.

    Responsibilities

    Management of opportunities through the needs assessment and sales cycle.

    • Establish a documented sales process that effectively and efficiently progresses an opportunity from first call to a sale.
    • Coordinate with other key stakeholders (referring CPA, Implementation Manager, etc.) to create solutions that meet the client needs and establish client expectations that can be met.
    • Manage, create and price proposals for potential clients.
    • Provide a prompt and accurate response to current and potential clients regarding the services and solutions available.
    • Setup demonstrations with potential clients and other team members as needed.
    • Utilize customer relationship management system to contact clients and prospective clients as well as track calls.

    Build relationships with internal Senior Managers and Partners to identify internal sales leads of current Baker Tilly clients.

     

    • Educate internal business teams on BT Advantage solutions & services by facilitating meetings with Partners and Senior Managers.
    • Proactively identify potential opportunities for new business within Baker Tilly’s other service lines.

    Maintain and expand knowledge base of software solutions and services.

    • Attend courses to develop and keep skills and knowledge current.
    • Integrate new knowledge and skills into daily work and cross train colleagues as appropriate.
    • Work with firm marketing and collateral to identify service opportunities and niche markets.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required. Relevant experience in-lieu of degree may be considered.
    • Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience. Previous software sales experience or experience in an accounting firm is a plus.
    • Excellent sales skills and a proven track record of achieving KPI’s.
    • Able to establish, develop and maintain strong, long term and positive working relationships with team members and clients.
    • Ability to provide exceptional client service.
    • Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies and regulations, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties.
    • Driven and ambitious individual with a strong desire to succeed.
    • Previous experience in an inside sales role within a similar business preferred.
