It's an exciting time to join Baker Tilly! We are currently looking for a Client On-Boarding Manager/Implementation Manager to join our team in Madison, WI.

  • Participate in client needs assessment sessions and provide insight on system selection and integration.
  • Assist in the pricing of implementation services during the proposal process.
  • Create visibility to team members of project status and backlogs.
  • Oversee documentation of certain aspects of the project, including client’s workflow and processes, change management, and lessons learned.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding budgeted service (i.e. conversion and training) revenue assuming a sufficient amount of backlog exists.
  • Create standardized client on-boarding processes.
  • Develop a standard implementation protocol for each application and continuously evaluate for opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency of implementation.
  • Work with implementation teams to setup and configure software to match client’s needs as determined in the client needs assessment.
  • Supervise conversion services to map and convert data from client’s legacy system.
  • Implementation follow-up to ensure success for the client after go-live.
  • Provide documentation and videos to assist clients with learning the software. Continuously look to evolve training materials and platforms with assistance from software providers and Baker Tilly learning & development team members.
  • Focus on adult learning methodologies, presentation techniques, and course pacing.
  • Assist in the organization and planning of training initiatives, in line with project deadlines and expectations set forth as a part of the project plan and timeline.
  • Effectively train and setup the client to minimize support issues post-implementation.
  • Take on occasional special project work with the ability to manage the project from start to finish.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable software, technology and industry related topics and issues. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of previous software implementation and training experience required.
  • Strong project management skills required.
  • Ability to establish, develop and maintain strong, long-term and positive working relationships with team members and clients.
  • Demonstrated analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with or knowledge of the basic accounting process is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel).
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and people skills.
  • Some travel may be required (anticipate less than 10 nights per year)
