As a member of our Risk, Internal Audit, and Cybersecurity Services team, you will provide technology consulting services to leading companies and organizations.  Our clients span many industries including technology, financial services, healthcare, not-for-profit, manufacturing and distribution, higher education, government contracting, as well as other businesses.

   

Baker Tilly professionals are committed to help clients navigate and manage risks associated with using, deploying and managing information systems. 

 

The Manager primarily will focus on SOC examinations, but also is likely to be involved with other risk related assessments as well.  The potential list of projects would include the following:

 

System and Organization Controls (SOC) Assurance

  • SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC for Cybersecurity, SOC 2 +
  • SOC consulting that includes readiness and gap assessments

IT Governance and Assurance

  • Outsourced IT Audit
  • Co-sourced IT Audit
  • Programs addressing Model Audit Rule (MAR), HIPAA, HITRUST, FISMA, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST
  • IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Readiness & Testing

IT Risk Consulting

  • Information Security & Privacy Assessments
  • Project Quality Assurance Reviews
  • Process Improvement/Re-engineering

Responsibilities

As a Manager in our Risk, Internal Audit, and Cybersecurity Services practice, you will work with a select group of professionals to:

  • Think strategically about your clients’ business, systems, and risks
  • Team with your clients to develop solutions to problems and drive positive change
  • Work closely with client executives and management teams to understand their businesses and consult with them regarding risks and controls
  • Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with other bright, motivated professionals, and assist with the development of our growing team
  • Assist with business development activities

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Management/Computer Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, Accounting or related program
  • 5+ year(s) experience in IT or accounting/finance preferred 
  • Experience in performing SOC examinations preferred
  • Experience assessing or performing technology management processes including:
    • System development life cycle
    • Change management
    • Network, database, and operating system administration
    • Business continuity and disaster recovery planning
    • Security administration
  • Excellent analytical, technical and problem solving skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Ability to adapt to various work environments, industries, and project schedules
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of personnel
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • CPA, CISA, CITP, CISSP, CISM, CIPP, or CIA certifications preferred
