    • Manage research and development (R&D) tax credit studies including client interviews, reviewing client data, developing client- and industry-specific tools and templates and preparing technical reports
    • Consult on various accounting method changes including inventory and revenue and expense recognition as well as DPAD and transaction costs analyses
    • Research and draft technical memoranda related to R&D/accounting methodmatters
    • Provide audit defense assistance for clients being audited by the IRS or state taxing authorities
    • Participate in new business development activities
    • Train and mentor  staff and interns


    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
    • 5+ years of work experience in R&D  and/or accounting methods
    • Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills
    • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
    • Passion for finding creative and efficient solutions to analytical problems
    • Leadership and supervisory skills
    • Willingness to travel to client locations and various Baker Tilly office locations
