Baker Tilly’s Healthcare Consulting Practice is seeking a seasoned clinician for the position of clinical consultant. This position will work primarily with our senior living clients, with a focus on skilled nursing facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide various types of clinical services that focus on the following areas:
    • Federal regulatory requirements of compliance
    • MDS Coding and RAI processing
    • Licensure and certification surveys
    • Electronic Medical Records
    • Nurse staffing (direct care and nursing administration)
  • Make positive contributions to the Consulting Practice and develop and implement a personal plan which sets goals for professional and practice development
  • Deliver exceptional client service in all client interactions and projects
  • Communicate effectively, both internally and to clients, including those at an executive level

Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing and an RN license
  • RAC-CT certification is preferred
  • At least five years of experience working for or with nursing facilities; consulting experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel, including overnight travel
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service and display appropriate ethical knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with all levels of professionals
  • Valid driver’s license is also required
