Currently, we are recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to support the successful implementation and management of strategic business initiatives.  The Senior Project Manager is a strategic and hands-on role leading and / or facilitating the planning and execution of multiple strategic business initiatives across a variety of teams (i.e. Growth & Strategic Initiatives, Marketing and Sales).  This position is targeted to work out of our Milwaukee, WI office.

 

As a part of Baker Tilly’s Practice, you will play an integral role on our project teams and assist our clients in designing and implementing the right solutions with a practical approach in order to meet their unique business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Firm Practice Leaders to provide consultation and support in managing operations and projects across the firm to advance the development and implementation of firm wide business plans.
    • Manage the operations of firm wide Specialization and Growth initiatives to provide consultation and support in the development and implementation of business plans including but not limited to coordinating resources, tracking milestones, managing budgets, and providing progress reports to ensure the successful delivery of business plans.
    • Facilitate collaboration and coordination with stakeholders as needed to enable successful development and implementation of complex programs, including timeline, resources, scope, costs and relationships of multiple projects.
    • For assigned projects, ensure that the scope of work is completed to the satisfaction of the client and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that quality, financial, risk management, business and policy expectations are met.
    • Communicate and work with internal clients on a variety of issues potentially including progress and status, scope, schedule and budget as well as progress of deliverables, client reviews, technical input, and comment resolution.
    • Identify, evaluate, track and mitigate risks to achieving business plans and projects. Communicate risks and mitigation processes to all team members.
    • Evaluate, document and determine a course of action for all change requests within project.
    • Support practice activities including program-specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, presentations, and contract negotiations consistent with established business practices.
    • Manage the portfolio of business plans and associated projects. Track and report on multiple projects in different stages of development within the matrix organization and project framework.
    • Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals and make adjustments as necessary.
    • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
    • Communicate project success and areas of improvement to PM management, clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required, MBA preferred
  • Six Sigma/PMP Certification preferred
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience; previous related industry and consulting experience required
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills required
  • A working understanding of Salesforce or a similar CRM such as Eloqua technologies highly preferred
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service, research and resolve issues, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding strategies and regulations, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties
  • Experience in the two of the following areas: Product Portfolio Management, New Product Launch, Market Analysis, Marketing Strategy, Voice of Customer, Demand Generation, Lead/Opportunity Management, Account Management, Pricing Strategy, and/or Customer Service/Support
  • Ability to travel to other Baker Tilly locations as needed as well as the ability to work beyond core business hours due to client deadlines
