Baker Tilly Search and Staffing is seeking a Staffing Consultant to join our Chicago office.

This role plays a critical piece in the success of Baker Tilly Search & Staffing and their clients. We are looking for driven individuals that have a passion for learning about others and an interest in business. The Staffing Consultant will work with people who are currently in transition to match them with accounting and finance temporary positions within prominent local companies.

Responsibilities

  • Locate and identify tax, audit, finance, accounting, and functional systems professionals, develop and implement a targeted search strategy to identify consultants and temporary employees with the backgrounds necessary to assist our clients
  • Build a virtual bench of talent with the skill sets and experience necessary to assist our clients
  • Collaborate with client service team to effectively define staffing & hiring needs
  • Maintain long term relationships with consultants as they are working on other engagements to ensure ongoing awareness of consultant availability in the marketplace
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the trends impacting our clients and the areas in which we assist them.
  • Prepare recruitment advertising & postings that utilize the latest recruitment marketing concepts including search engine optimization
  • Manage candidate and consultant relationships with a strong emphasis on building long-term relationships
  • Interview applicants and perform reference checks
  • Prepare written and verbal candidate presentation documents
  • Build and maintain a strong professional network to include involvement in professional networking groups and organization.
  • Become the face of Baker Tilly Search and Staffing from a recruitment perspective in the marketplace – build and maintain a strong professional network

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 required.
  • Experience in accounting, finance, sales, or recruiting preferred.
  • Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system a plus.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, project management, communication skills  and solid computer skills required.
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties.
