We are looking for a results driven Recruiter to join our Tysons office and our Talent Acquisition team. This is a critical role to growing our firm and finding top talent to join our firm in the tax, audit and consulting practices. This individual will have the opportunity to build results with key Partners, become a valued business advisor to the firm and participate in executing our people strategy.

  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting for experienced hires to include:
    • Understand talent needs within various business units through active conversations with hiring partners, resource managers and  the talent management team
    • Actively and effectively maintain the applicant tracking system, document candidate activity in a timely manner and ensure positions are accurately posted internally and externally
    • Conduct targeted research to identify and source qualified active and passive candidates
    • Screen and assess candidates; present qualified candidates to hiring managers for consideration
    • Facilitate and participate in candidate interviews and debriefing sessions
    • Maintain effective communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process
    • Lead and manage the employment offer process, teaming with Talent Management and key decisions makers, to include formulating, negotiating and extending offers
  • Assist with campus recruiting efforts as needed.
    • This may include: planning and participating in on-campus presentations, career fairs, mock interviews and/or resume review workshops; work closely with the Campus Recruiter to brand Baker Tilly as the “employer of choice” on campus.
  • Manage internal client relationships and collaborate with leadership to assess needs, develop strategies and implement work plans to meet the needs of the designated practice areas; develop and cultivate relationships with various levels of management, candidates and external recruiting sources
  • Team with HR Operations to ensure appropriate communication with candidates occurs and all required documents are completed
  • Partner with external agencies (when appropriate) and  negotiate terms of the vendor agreement
  • Understand, communicate and administer the firm’s employee referral program
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting or related field
  • One (1) to Three (3) years managing all aspects of the recruitment life cycle
  • Public accounting, professional services and/or prior agency experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated sourcing skills, including use of social media networks
  • A focus on establishing long term relationships and a passion for identifying top talent to fill current and strategic needs
  • Business acumen with strong organizational skills, a sense of urgency and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to travel to our various offices as needed
  • Ability to work outside of the core business hours when necessary
