Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Support 

  • Conduct new employee orientation, work with appropriate parties on developing of on-boarding plan and handle all related paperwork
  • Enter new employee data into internal systems
  • Conduct exit interviews & handle process for separating employees
  • Create reports and analyze data which may include turnover, exit survey responses, and headcount reports, performance counselor reports

Employee Relations Support 

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees relative to human resources policies and procedures.
  • Handle day-to-day human resource needs of the business unit and/or regional office location
  • Provide counseling and guidance to managers/partners in matters of employee relations; conduct investigations, prepare effective documentation, assist with the separation process and handle sensitive issues, escalating as needed
  • Ensure legal and contractual compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable HR laws and regulations by location (federal, state, local); may assist with compliance investigations 

Training and Development Support

  • Provide insight and guidance for people development processes including performance management, annual reviews, training, coaching and mentoring
  • Facilitate training sessions as needed
  • Assist with compliance requirements for continuing education within the business unit 

Other duties as assigned to include: 

  • Serve as a resource to the East Region HR Team and offer support as needed. 
  • Assist with campus recruiting as needed
  • Assist with the organization and execution of employee events
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of the annual compensation process
  • Enhance department and firm by accepting ownership and responsibility; exploring opportunities to add value to department and firm
  • Special projects as assigned/requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other related field required
  • Two (2) to Four (4) years’ experience in human resources with an emphasize on on-boarding
  • Previous experience in a Professional Service Organization highly desired.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
  • Must exhibit excellent written/verbal communication and exceptional customer service skills and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Ability to provide exceptional client service, follow-through, attention to detail, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding HR strategies and regulations, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of duties
  • Demonstrates a high level of energy, enthusiasm and passion for human resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Skills
  • Ability to work outside of the core business hours when necessary
  • Travel to our other surrounding Pennsylvania offices up to 20-30%.
  • PHR Certification highly desired
